We are looking for a Business Operations Director to be responsible for handling our ongoing operational infrastructure that currently includes: 

  • Flight ops - more than 100 different aircraft and operators
  • Image annotations for product delivery - more than 300 annotation experts
  • Image annotations for AI and other algorithms training - more than 100 agronomists annotation experts

Our ideal candidate will be in charge of providing inspired leadership for one of our organization's lines of business, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development, implementation and execution of operational policies and procedures.


  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that all operational requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
  • Oversee different initiatives of the business, monitor their progress and completion, and ensures that they meet the expectations of the clients.
  • Submit project deliverables, establish effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.
  • Coordinating with global and cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency. 
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, and planning.
  • Proactively identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the customers.
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities with customers.
  • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.
  • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.


  • 3+ years of experience in project management in a SaaS company. 
  • Ability to work with the relevant USA stakeholders on a daily basis (i.e Flight Ops, Customer Success).
  • Proven experience in managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
  • Proven experience and a strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor degree or master degree in business or related field.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent English level.

Project managers / Customer Success / Customer Support in SaaS companies who have dealt with the following - major advantage: 

  • Annotation, crowdsourcing, monitoring and operating support center, drone / plane operators.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese speakers.
  • Agronomy knowledge.
