Taranis is hiring a General Manager to join us leading the next phase of our company’s rapid growth, establishing and increasing our presence in Australia.

This is an incredible opportunity to be Taranis’ first function in Australia!

The General Manager will own full responsibility over our client lifecycle including customer acquisition, retention and growth. In addition, own and drive strategic decisions and overall go-to-market strategy across Australian Agtech market.

Responsibilities


  • Set up company strategy to grow Taranis’ activity with current customers / partners.
  • Develop additional relationships, expand business and market penetration.
  • Plan the region’s budget and revenue.
  • Manage activities to execute company’s overall plans and achieve goals.   
  • Represent company in commercial events, trade shows and conferences.
  • Hire and manage individuals at all levels according to the company’s needs.

Requirements


  • Substantial experience and proven results as a sales leader, preferably in scaling a metrics-driven sales team at a rapidly growing technology company
  • Credibility within the agriculture industry and passion for the agriculture industry
  • Extensive experience working with both growers and large Agriculture suppliers.
  • Taken business from small scale to large scale while implementing company procedures in all aspects - operations, sales, customer success.
  • Willingness to travel frequently
